Training Series for Raising Cyber Security Awareness

October is officially recognized as Cybersecurity Awareness Month, supported by the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA).

The Cyber Security Center at Caucasus University, in partnership with the Scientific Cyber Security Association (SCSA), acting as the implementing organization for the EU-funded “SECURE” project, is organizing a series of thematic, open training sessions throughout October.

• October 2; 15:00 – “Conversations on Cybersecurity” Presenter: Vladimer Svanadze, Professor at Caucasus University and Vice President of the SCSA.

• October 5; 15:00 – “Personal Data Protection within the Modern Corporate Environment” Presenter: Ketevan Grdzelidze, Data Protection Officer and Cybersecurity Specialist.

• October 15; 11:00 – “Active Directory and Security: Methodologies of Domain Network Compromise” Presenter: Sergo Simonov, OffSec Authorized Instructor, Technical Director of the SCSA, and Head of the Penetration Testing Department.

• October 24; 15:00 – “Applied Post-Quantum Cryptography (Operations within the Quantum Laboratory)” Presenter: Professor Maksim Iavich, Corresponding Member of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences, Director of the Cyber Security Center, and President of the SCSA.

• October 30; 15:00 – “Enhancing Awareness: The Illusion of Security and the Human Factor” Presenter: Giorgi Akhalaia, Associate Professor at Caucasus University.
