Professor Maksim Iavich, Corresponding Member of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences, presented the Quantum Laboratory established within the framework of the SECURE project (Education Center for Unified Resilience & Effective Communications).
The laboratory was demonstrated to a delegation of Master’s students from the Department of Cybersecurity and Cryptology, Faculty of Information Technologies and Artificial Intelligence, Al-Farabi National University.
During the visit, Professor Maksim Iavich introduced the laboratory infrastructure, showcased its technical capabilities, and provided insights into its role in advancing research and education in quantum and post-quantum cybersecurity.
He also presented the main goals of the SECURE project and highlighted the results already achieved, emphasizing the development of innovative laboratories, practical training environments, and international collaboration in cutting-edge cybersecurity domains.
The event reflects the growing cooperation between institutions and the strengthening of capacity in advanced cybersecurity and quantum technologies.
